Bridging Communities: WB Cares’ Two-Day Feeding Program for Senior Citizens in Parañaque City and Kawit, Cavite

1. The participants from the Senior Citizen’s Association of Barangay Puyat, Parañaque City joined the program by starting with a prayer led by the WB Cares Officer.

WB Cares organized a feeding program for senior citizens in Parañaque City and Kawit, Cavite with the support of local association presidents.

The program commenced on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Barangay Puyat, Parañaque City, led by Ms. Melita Paulino, President of the Homeowners Association. WB Cares officers arranged various games and activities, engaging nearly eighty (80) senior citizens.

On January 27, 2024, the initiative continued at Barangay Samala-Marquez, Kawit, Cavite, spearheaded by Mr. Tiotimo Ago, President of the Senior Citizen Association. Approximately one hundred (100) senior citizens participated in the event.

WB Cares distributed essential goods, warm meals, and fruit baskets to the senior citizens, with grocery packages awarded to game winners.

Recognizing the invaluable role of senior citizens in our society, WB aims to express gratitude for their contributions by continuing to support initiatives like these.
